Anomaly detection in industrial processes

This project will identify and plan for future cooperation activities in different perspectives of anomaly and fault detection in industry through brainstorming, synthesis, and planning between Mid Sweden University and Technical University Ontario.

Mid Sweden University (MIUN) and Technical University of Ontario (TU Ontario) have an established, long-term cooperation in the area of machine learning, with focus in deep learning applications for anomaly detection and image analysis.

From this cooperation we have observed academic benefits generated in co-authored research articles. However, there is potential for further growth and with this project we aim to identify potential cooperation that also involves industrial partners and their challenges.

This project will establish a plan for a new cooperation project between the partners in Sweden and Canada.

The input to the project activities will be the ongoing cooperation activities, needs/challenges for the project partners and projected challenges in IoT/AI technology.
