Environmental horizon 2020

Environmental Horizon 2020 was funded from the EU's regional development fund to build contact networks to build a clear and well-known environmental profile for the region, based on the competence of the University of Sweden and regional stakeholders.

At Mid Sweden University there are qualified expertise in science, technology and environmental science that can contribute knowledge and innovation for solutions to today's and future environmental challenges. In addition, there is a well-developed infrastructure and a national and international scientific contact network in these areas. We have therefore identified an important development area where, with a knowledge-based approach, we can contribute to regional development through Central Norrland's operational program and at the same time contribute to the strategy within Horizon 2020.
