Hossam Farag is a PhD-student within the research group Communication Systems and Networks. He will be part of the research project SMART.
What is your background?
I have a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Aswan University, Egypt.
Why did you choose Sweden and Mid Sweden University?
I found that Mid Sweden University provide the desired atmosphere that I need to pursue my research in the Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks (IWSNs) field. By joining such a strong and energetic research group, it really makes me feel that it is the right place to pursue my research towards my PhD degree. Also, Sweden is one of the best places that I'd love to live and study in. I found a lovely and friendly environment here in Sundsvall and it feel almost like to be at my home town in Egypt.
