What is your background?
I have a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, Venezuela, and a Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
Why did you choose Sweden and Mid Sweden University?
I first moved to Sweden to conduct my master's thesis at ABB Corporate Research, in Västerås. I loved the snowy weather and the well-organized structure that normally characterize Sweden. During my thesis work I got the opportunity to meet Prof. Mikael Gidlund and I got to know more about Mid Sweden University. Mid Sweden University have a diverse, dynamic and growing environment, perfect to embark upon the adventure of pursuing my Ph.D studies. The research projects conducted here are very current and relevant to my field of interest and I am very excited and grateful for having this opportunity.
