Electrical Engineering MA, Embedded Computing, 9 Credits

The purpose with this course is to give students deeper knowledge in specification, design and implementation of FPGA-based Systems on Chip (SoC). You will learn how to model custom designed hardware at register transfer level using the language VHDL. You will further learn how to design embedded computing systems from reusable IP-components, generate custom designed IP, generate a customized Linux operating system and write c-code for programs accessing IP-components under Linux.
