Introductory Course. Social networks exist all around us: from bumping into a friend on the bus to international politics, relations matter. Social relations are important in everything from finding a job to understanding how society functions, and networks play an even more important role nowadays in our digital lives. Learn how to analyze how different social networks are built and how they work. This course will show you how to use social network analysis to understand the structure of social networks and the relationship between social networks and politics.
The structure of the teaching
This is a seated class, with physical meetings in conjunction with asynchronous lectures. Access to a computer is required.
