Aim
This course aims to give you as a student the opportunity to deepen and specialize in a specific subject within computer engineering. In project form, you will study any Mooc course or a textbook in computer engineering and show that you can apply the knowledge and present the theory. The purpose is also that in this educaton to train yourself in planning and implementing a project with the aim of independently acquiring knowledge.
Course objectives
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- present theoretical knowledge and practical skills within the part of computer technology that the project concerns
- demonstrate skills in planning, implementing, reporting and evaluating independent studies

Project planning
- Actual work in chosen field within computer engineering
- Continuous reporting in the form of seminars
- Documentation and presentation
Selection rules and procedures
The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.
Teaching form
The course can be completed as a campus course or as a web-based distance course with mandatory assemblies. The scope of the coursework is estimated at approx. 80 hours and of these approx. 80% is independent work with the project.
