Aim
The aim of the course is for students to learn the basic principles of photographic lighting. The course will introduce students to typical lighting situations and methods for modifying and shaping light.
Course objectives
After passing the course students will:
- be able to measure light quantity
- be able to describe light quality
- be able to apply basic knowledge of lighting for photography
- comprehend basic colour theory
- operate photographic lighting equipment
Content
The course deals with:
- Artificial and natural lighting
- Lighting theory
- Light modification
- Colour theory
- Professional lighting techniques
- Camera settings

I301: Assignment 3, 3 Credits
