Krokom Municipality
Krokom's municipality's borders stretch from the shores of Storsjön in the south, to the vast and wild mountains in the north, and in the east the large forests of the northern hinterland take over.
Roughly 15,000 inhabitants live here, in the middle of Jämtland County, with close proximity to good communications to the rest of Sweden. Here there are fantastic opportunities for a rich cultural and outdoor life. People move here and people want to stay here, because life itself can take place here. The municipality is part of a Sami administrative area, which means that we work to strengthen the Sami language, to make the culture visible and to give the Sami influence.
