New university director at Mid Sweden University
On March 1, Louise Beskow takes up the position as university director at Mid Sweden University. Louise is currently active as head of administration at the Red Cross University in Stockholm.
Louise Beskow is an experienced manager and leader with long and broad experience in the higher education sector. She has worked for twelve years at the Ministry of Education, including as head of the budget secretariat. Furthermore, she has worked as an administrative manager at the Department of Physics at Stockholm University and most recently as head of administration at the University of the Red Cross, where she was also the Vice-Chancellor's Deputy.
Her extensive experience in leading change and development work in several central areas, i.a. processes for finance and business follow-up, external and internal communication and strategy work, as well as her large network of contacts and knowledge of the sector, will be a great asset for Mid Sweden University.
Louise will be located at Campus Sundsvall.
Ludde Edgren continues as acting head of administration until March 1.
