The research council

Mission

The Research Council initiates and coordinates overarching discussions related to research and doctoral education.

The research council’s area of responsibility covers both faculties, and the Council is tasked with promoting uniform solutions to shared challenges and uniform application of regulations to the extent it is appropriate. The Council is also tasked with working on quality assurance and quality monitoring at management level.

The Council may set up working groups for specific tasks and appoint members of the groups. 

The Research Council is chaired by a chairman and each member of the council holds an assignment from the faculties or for the student unions, and the term of office of the council coincides with the period for these assignments.
