North2North
North2North is a mobility program within the network University of the Arctic (Uarctic), concerned with education and research in and about the North. The mobility program includes both tuition-free study places and scholarships.
North2North mobility program
Students from all academic areas are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to students enrolled in study programs connected to the focus areas of the North2North program (such as Nordic Tourism, Business management in the north, Environmental/natural/geopolitical issues related to the north, Distance and e-learning, etc). The motivation letter needs to describe the student's interest in or connection to the themes of the North2North program.
Host Universities
A number of universities in Canada, the United States, Scotland, France, Russia, the Nordic countries including Greenland and the Faraoe Islands are members of the North2North network. In addition, the University of Tasmania in Australia is a member. Please note that the number of study places with tuition waivers to the member Universities in Scotland, USA, Canada and Australia are very limited. Mobility to Russia is currently not possible.
Please note that the tution waivers are for the network, not only for MIUN applicants. The Nordic members do not charge tuition and are therefore not on the list. If you want to go on a Nordic exchange, consider the exchange programme Nordlys. Click here to read more about Nordlys.
Due to the limited number of North2North tuition waivers, it is recommended to also apply for exchange studies in the regular MIUN exchange application round to increase your chances to study abroad.
